Programs Tailor Made for All Needs

Private Lessons
Each student is different, however, guitar and ukelele beginners will generally focus on fundamental chord shapes and scales, learning and applying them to music that they are most excited about making. Lessons will be uniquely tailored for each individual. Whether you want to rock out, play smokin' blues, chicken pick or be-bop with the best of them, you will be able to make it happen. You will acquire and build on the essentials necessary for a solid musical foundation: reading, fretboard theory, stylistic knowledge, rhythm and time, and other areas of expertise.
Skype lessons are also available for private students.

Group Lessons
Group lessons cover all the material learned in individual lessons while aquiring the invaluable skill of playing in time with others. Group rates are available for two or more students enrolling together.

Pre K MusicWorks! Classes & Camps
We offer Pre-K music classes regularly through the Issaquah Community Center, for which you can register at https://tinyurl.com/MusikWorks
We also offer Pre K summer camps at our school, for which registration opens in early June.

These programs are music workshops geared at discovering multiple instruments and learning the fundamentals of rhythm, tempo, dynamics, and pitch. Kids sing, dance and play instruments to familiar songs. A fun and dynamic way to learn music, while boosting developmental skills such as listening, cooperation and teamwork!

Recording Lessons & Sessions
One of the best things an aspiring musician can do to advance musicality is learning to record well. The recording program at Eastside Guitar Star & Ukelele focuses on both the technical and performative sides of recording. It teaches basic skills, such as playing with a click track as well as advanced knowledge of recording software to edit takes, mix and master multiple songs, and polish other areas of music production.

Star Scholarships
Eastside Guitar Star & Ukulele provides music education scholarships for lower-income, school-aged youth in our community. The Guitar Star and Ukes for Youth Scholarships give young scholars access to the high quality music programs outlined above. We work with local businesses and citizens to support the fund and help bring the benefits of music education to as many young Eastsiders as we can. Contact us to inquire about or support the fund.
